With further editing and managing to put in the sound we found that it was a very successful day of work but we did hit one problem. Although we had decided on the Paramount intro, after watching it we thought that it was slightly over the top. Also it had some music that gave of a happy feel when you heard it. Although it is possible to unlink the sound and video it wouldnt be the same to have it without the sound that it is known by. Therefore we changed the intro from Paramount to New Line Cinema. This fits better with our film as it is blue which matches out production title (Oceans Productions) and also it is dark which adds to the mood that the film is trying t0 create.

Re Shooting mobile phone scene
Today we had to go back out re-shoot some more footage as when we filmed it yesterday the footage came over as very fuzzy and poor quality, this was due to poor lighting and wobbly camera work. Which was very weird because when we went and shot Lisa on the other side of the phone conversation the footage came out perfect with no problems of sound or lighting.
So when we went back today we went to the same place and we played around a bit with the lights as we where inside a room also we had a new camera as well meaning the chances of the footage being poor was very unlikely. So when we shot the footage and placed into our film it look a lot better than yesterdays footage

26/1/10 Filming with Lisa
This lesson we were looking at the footage that we had already got together and we reaslised that the film did not explain why Lisa is there or what connection she has to Charles. We then decided which shots we could film to help explain to he audience and this went well.
One shot was of Charles phoning Lisa and telling her that someone is following him.
The next shots were of Lisa in the library when she recieves the call and what her responses to Charles are. The reason for this is that we thought we could show a short conversation to break up the first few scenes as it was too slow to begin with.
Charles tells Lisa that he thinks someone is following him and now the audience knows what is going on.

Paramount Logo Entry
Today in our lesson we downloaded and added the paramount logo video from a movie trailer. We found the video from Youtube as well and downloaded the URL to our blog. This enabled us to add the video into our Main Task. This completed our beginning of the movie and now as a group we have to discuss the music that we will be using in our Main Task.

Main Task Feedback
This afternoon in class we were given the opportunity to give and recieve feedback on our main tasks. The main thing that people seemed to pick up on was that the first shot as it was too long. Below is some of the feedback that we were given.
Kim – Lisa is wearing school uniform & opening shot is too long & more titles
Simon – Build up the tension slower than we have
Sultan – First shot is too long but there is good use of effects
Tess – No girl at the end of the film & first shot too long
Mrs Downes - Needs some sound at the beginning, there is talking in the background some shots that needs to be cut out & at the end there is a wiggle in the fingers that needs to be cut out.
We have taken on board all of this information and we are very grateful for it as we are using it to improve the footage that we currently have.
